This spring’s six-week course takes us on a deep dive into sensory experience, using meditations labeling sight, sound, touch, and talk (as adapted from Shinzin Young). We’ll rest the mind deeply in our body’s sensations and learn to distinguish these from the conceptual labels that generally get mixed into perception. our aspiration is to be recognizing our direct experience so we’ll have an easier time not getting swept up by it in daily life.
